Sharon High School is pleased to offer the following sports for Fall 2026 season:

• Boys' Soccer (Varsity, JV and Freshmen*)
• Girls' Soccer (Varsity, JV)
• Volleyball (Varsity, JV and Freshmen*)
(*Note Freshmen teams are dependent on the number of signups)
ATHLETIC FEES:
Fees for athletics are as follows
• 1st sport $431/athlete
• 2nd sport $335/athlete
• 3rd sport $230/athlete
• $1,552/Family Maximum for 25-26 School year
**Each family member pays $431 for their first sport.**
**Please do not pay your Fall Sports Fees via My School Bucks UNTIL JULY 1 or after**
**PAYMENTS ARE DUE BY TRYOUTS ON AUGUST 24th**
HARDSHIP:
Any family that is having difficulty paying the athletic fee should apply for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program. If your family has extenuating circumstances please reach out to the Athletic Director at 781-784-1554 x81126. We do not want any student to not be able to participate due to financial need.

MASSACHUSETTS POLICY REGARDING PHYSICAL EXAMS FOR SPORTS:
All students must pass a physical examination prior to participation in High School Athletics. A physical exam covers the student for 13 months from the exam date. A student’s eligibility will terminate once a physical has reached the 13-month limit. In order for the physical to be valid for the ENTIRE Fall season it must be dated October 31, 2025 or later. (Example physical is dated September 10, 2025 if no new physical is submitted the athlete will be INELIGIBLE to practice or play in any game starting October 11, 2026)
The Fall season begins August 24, 2026 for all sports. If you do not have an up-to-date physical here in Arbiter/Family ID by the first day of tryouts, you will be ineligible to tryout.
REQUIREMENTS to REGISTER:
1. COMPLETE ON-LINE CONCUSSION COURSE:
Online Concussion Information Course – Parents and student athletes must complete a free online concussion course prior to registration. The free on-line course is available and contains all the information required by law. The entire course, including registration can be completed in less than 30 minutes – below is the link to the course.

2. Please note that students participating in contact sports are required to have a current IMPACT Baseline on file with the department. Students will be asked to take this test at the start of their season. Baseline results are valid for two school years.
